Business verification is a new step for companies that want to show who runs their website. An SSL certificate proves that a connection is encrypted. It does not always tell visitors which company is behind the site. Our verification fills that gap on your public HostiGuard certificate record.
How business verification works
Verification is by invitation. Our team sends a private link to companies that ask for it. You sign in, choose your certificate and fill in a short form. You attach your ID, your passport and your company documents. Then our compliance team reviews everything within 72 business hours.
What we check
- That the person applying is real and holds a valid ID.
- That the company exists and the registration number matches.
- That the certificate belongs to the same account.
- That the documents are genuine and not expired.
We may ask for extra documents or a short video call. Fraud or forged papers lead to the permanent closure of the account.
What visitors see
Once approved, your certificate page shows a verified business mark. You can also choose to display your company name and registration number. That display is a paid option, billed monthly or yearly. Prices change from time to time, and the price on your invoice applies to that period.
If the paid period ends, the name is hidden automatically. If the certificate is not renewed, the record shows it as expired.
Why it builds trust
Online shoppers are careful, and phishing sites copy real brands every day. A public record that names your company helps buyers feel safe. It is especially useful for new shops, B2B suppliers and service companies that take deposits.
You can share the record using your HostiGuard reference link. Place it in your footer, checkout page or invoices.
