How to report abuse

If you believe a HostiGuard service is used for abuse, report it on the Report abuse page (also linked in the footer), or e-mail our abuse team at the address shown on that page. You do not need a HostiGuard account.

How to send a good report

1. Choose the abuse type — for example phishing, fraudulent website, spam, malware, network attack, hacked website, copyright, trademark or privacy violation.
2. Enter the exact website, domain or IP address.
3. Describe what happens, when, and why it is harmful. Some types ask for more: the full e-mail headers for spam; the source IP, date, time and time zone for attacks; the original work and an electronic signature for copyright and trademark notices.
4. Attach evidence if you have it: screenshots, PDFs, .eml files or logs — up to 5 files of 10 MB each.

A HostiGuard Drive file or shared link

Choose HostiGuard Drive file or shared link and paste the shared link. Every shared-link page also has a Report abuse link at the bottom that fills this in for you.

Material involving children

Never upload or attach the material itself — give the exact URL only. It is handled with the highest priority, removed and reported to the competent authorities.

What happens next

You see your reference number at once and receive it by e-mail. Our abuse team reviews every report, usually within 24 hours. To add information, reply to that e-mail and keep the reference number in the subject. For privacy reasons we cannot always tell you what action was taken against a customer.
