The reseller programme explained (with examples)
The reseller programme lets you buy HostiGuard services at a discount and resell them to your own clients under your own brand. All figures below are examples only — the real levels, thresholds, discounts and commissions are those published in the current reseller terms and in your dashboard, and they can change.
1. Joining
Open Dashboard → Reseller and submit the application form (company name, website, expected volume). Once approved, the reseller section unlocks discounted prices, the API and the branding tools.
2. Levels and discounts — example
Your level depends on what you have bought in the programme. For example, a scheme could look like this:
- Starter — bought up to $100 → example 10% off list price.
- Silver — bought $100 or more → example 25% off list price.
- Gold — bought $1,000 or more → example 35% off.
So in this example, a reseller who has purchased $100 of services moves to Silver and pays $7.50 for a hosting plan that costs $10 on the public site. Your real level and discount are shown on the reseller page; the amounts in this article are illustrations, not a promise.
3. Ordering for your clients
Order exactly as a normal client — the discount is applied automatically in the cart. You can also create the order through the reseller API or the WHMCS module / WordPress plugin. The service is created under your account; you give your client the credentials you choose.
4. Billing your clients
You set your own retail price and invoice your clients yourself. Example: you pay $7.50 for a plan and sell it for $12 — the $4.50 margin is yours. HostiGuard never contacts your clients.
5. Branding and white label
Nameservers, e-mail templates and the client area can show your brand where the service supports it. Details are in WHMCS & WordPress modules.
6. Payments and balance
Top up your balance to pay orders instantly; the balance is store credit for purchases only and cannot be withdrawn. Renewals are billed at your current level.
7. Rules
You remain responsible for your clients’ usage under the Acceptable Use Policy; abuse can end the reseller status. Read the full reseller terms before you start.
