Domain auto-renew

languageDomains schedule1 min read updateUpdated Oct 09, 2026 visibility117

Losing a domain means losing the website and e-mail that depend on it. Auto-renew protects you:

  1. Open Domains → Manage and switch Auto-renew on.
  2. A renewal invoice is created before the expiry date. If your balance covers it, it is paid automatically; otherwise you receive a reminder to pay it.

Renewals always extend the domain from its current expiry date, so renewing early never wastes time. After expiry most extensions have a short grace period, followed by a redemption period with a higher fee — do not rely on it.
