WHOIS privacy protection

Every registered domain must have an owner contact. Without privacy protection, your name, e-mail and address are published in the public WHOIS database and quickly attract spam.

WHOIS privacy replaces your details with the registrar's proxy contact. You stay the legal owner and still receive important messages through the proxy.

Enable it when you register the domain, or later from Domains → Manage → Privacy. Some country extensions do not allow privacy; the option is hidden for those.
