Renewing an SSL certificate

lockSSL Certificates schedule1 min read updateUpdated Oct 09, 2026 visibility127

Certificates are valid for one year. Before expiry you receive a renewal invoice (see Renewals). After payment:

  1. A new certificate is issued — a fresh validation may be requested.
  2. Install the new files on your server (automatic for sites hosted with us).

Renew at least a week before expiry so that validation and installation finish in time; browsers show a warning the moment a certificate expires.
