Team access: share your account safely

Team access lets other people manage parts of your account without sharing your password.

Invite a member

1. Open Dashboard → Team access and click Invite a member.
2. Enter the person's name and e-mail address.
3. Choose what they can do (or use a preset: Developer, Accountant, Support agent, Full manager).
4. Choose the duration: 24 hours, 7, 30 or 90 days, 1 year, or permanent.
5. Send the invitation. It is valid for 72 hours.

Accepting an invitation

The person signs in with their own HostiGuard account (or creates a free one with the invited e-mail), opens Team access and clicks Accept. They then use Switch account at the top of the sidebar to open your account and Back to my account to return.

Staying in control

• End session now signs the member out immediately.
• Pause access or Remove member stops all access.
• The Activity log shows what each member did, and you receive an e-mail when a sensitive permission is used or when they sign in from a new IP address.
• Members can never change your e-mail, password or two-step verification, delete your account, withdraw money, transfer your balance, move or sell your domains, or see your API keys and saved cards.
• Domain transfer codes are always e-mailed to you, the owner — never shown to the member.
